Free student tickets are now available for this week’s season opener at Allegiant Stadium. Tickets for Thursday night’s game against Eastern Washington went for sale at UNLVTickets.com Sunday morning.
UNLV students can log into their UNLVTickets.com account, or make one if they have not done so already, to claim their free ticket to watch UNLV take on Eastern Washington. A student can request an additional ticket for a guest for $15, but supplies are limited.
Also, available to students are parking and transportation options. For example, students can purchase a parking pass for $10 to park in Lot J at Allegiant Stadium. They can also buy a parking pass while claiming their free student ticket, but parking passes are very limited, so students are encouraged to purchase them immediately while supplies last.
Parking passes are limited to one pass per account. Otherwise, students could pay for other parking spots at Allegiant Stadium if they do not get a pass and want to park at the stadium. Tailgating will be permitted at Allegiant Stadium for fans.
For students who do not want to park at the stadium, UNLV and the RTC have partnered for a shuttle from campus to the stadium for only $2 round trip on game days. Beginning three hours before kickoff and up to one hour before kickoff, the shuttle will depart from the UNLV transit center near Greenspun Hall right to Allegiant Stadium.
Return services will begin 25 minutes after the game and end one hour after the game. The shuttle will depart from the transit center and stadium every 20 minutes.
This will be the first UNLV football game to be played at Allegiant Stadium without any restrictions. The Rebels played their first two games last year with limited spectators, including some students. However, later in the season, the school announced there would be no fans for its final games in 2020 due to surging COVID-19 cases in Southern Nevada.
Fans are required to wear masks inside Allegiant Stadium at all times, regardless of vaccination status. UNLV has created a fan guide to assist in any questions prior to attending a Rebel football game.
Kickoff between UNLV and Eastern Washington is scheduled for 7 p.m. The game will be streamed on Stadium and can be heard locally on the radio on ESPN Las Vegas 1100 AM/100.9 FM.
