The UNLV men’s basketball game at Air Force, scheduled for Saturday, has been postponed due to COVID-19 concerns within the Runnin’ Rebels’ program.

The Mountain West Conference made the announcement this morning that the game will not be played as scheduled. And, that “if the game cannot be rescheduled, it will be declared a no contest.”

UNLV’s game at San Jose State, scheduled for Jan. 5, was also postponed due to COVID-19 issues within the Spartans’ program.

As of now, this is the 11th MW men’s basketball conference game postponed due to COVID concerns. The conference has not yet announced any plans to make up any of the postponed games.

The Runnin’ Rebels are scheduled to return to action Jan. 11 at the Thomas & Mack Center to host New Mexico at 8 p.m.
