The full UNLV women’s basketball schedule is out for the 2022-2023 regular season and postseason play, after the Mountain West Conference announced its women’s basketball conference schedule last week.

The Lady Rebels will tip-off their season against Pepperdine on Nov. 7 at the Cox Pavilion and will play against Oral Roberts at the Thomas & Mack on Nov. 11.

They will play their first eight games at either Cox Pavilion or Thomas & Mack Center.

UNLV will host the UNLV Thanksgiving Tournament from Nov. 25-27. The Lady Rebels are set to start the tournament Albany on Nov. 25 and the teams for the rest of the tournament are to be announced.

On Dec. 3, the Lady Rebels will play their first road game against the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA, followed by a pair of games in Hawaii against the University of Hawaii at Hilo (Dec. 7) and the University of Hawaii (Dec. 11). UNLV’s other road non-conference game is against Big 12 opponent Oklahoma State on Dec. 18.

The Lady Rebels start Mountain West play against Wyoming on Dec. 29 at the Cox Pavilion.

The Lady Rebels will play each Mountain West team twice in the regular season except Air Force (in Colorado Springs on Feb. 4) and Utah State (at the Cox Pavilion on Feb. 23) who they will play once.

UNLV wraps up conference play and its regular season on Feb. 28 with a road game at UNR.

The Mountain West Conference Championship Tournament will be held at the Thomas & Mack Center beginning March 5. The championship game will be on March 8.

The Lady Rebels are coming off a successful 2021-22 campaign that included a Mountain West regular season and tournament championship, earning them a 13-seed at this most recent NCAA Tournament. UNLV fell in the opening round of the tournament to No.4 seed Arizona 72-67.

Last year, UNLV finished with a 26-7 overall record and a 15-3 Mountain West record. The Lady Rebels defeated Colorado State 75-65 in the Mountain West championship game to earn an automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament.

To keep the momentum going, the Lady Rebels signed head coach Lindy La Rocque to a five-year contract extension through the 2027 season. In her first two years, La Rocque had a record of 28-8 in Mountain West Conference play and 41-16 overall.

The Mountain West Player of the Year in 2022, center Desi-Rae Young is coming back to play in her junior campaign.

The Lady Rebels schedule is out and they have brought back their major pieces to make another run towards the NCAA Tournament.
