UNLV is a proud partner of TheDream.US scholarship program for undocumented immigrant students, the country’s largest college and career attainment project for undocumented students.

With UNLV’s partnership, an informational session will be held for students to learn more about the national scholarship, meet with UNLV Scholar Advisors, speak to previous scholarship recipients and receive help with the application process. This national scholarship covers tuition and fees for a Bachelor’s Degree up to a total amount of $33,000. Scholars may also be eligible for additional stipends of up to $6,000 for books, materials and transportation.

Applications for the 2024-2025 round are open to undocumented immigrant students with or without Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals or Temporary Protected Status who came to the U.S. before the age of 16 and before Nov. 1, 2018. The program utilizes an easy-to-follow Application Guide to help determine student eligibility, complete the application process, finalize submission, review the application status and watch for an award notification if selected as a recipient from March through April to accept the scholarship. The deadline to apply is on Feb. 29.More information can be found about the application along with further resources through the Undocumented Student Program (USP) within the Intersection. The USP assists undocumented students and mixed-status families by providing services, resources and support. It is committed to supporting student resilience via educational equity, advocacy and the promotion of an inclusive campus environment. Their purpose is to form alliances with students, academics, administrators and members of the community to better serve undocumented communities. TheDream.US National Scholarship Session is open to the public on Nov. 20 from 3 to 5 p.m.
