RebFest and a membership drive on the horizon for KUNV 91.5

KUNV 91.5 radio station is adding an event to campus by helping put on a music festival and membership drive at the end of the month 

A music and arts festival called RebFest will take place on Thursday March 31, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. This is presented by 91.5 KUNV’s student station The Rebel HD2 and ItsFire Entertainment Group. This festival is free to attend and will be held on campus in the courtyard of the Student Union, 4505 S. Maryland Parkway. 

Tickets are required to enter, but the tickets are free to all and can be acquired by visiting rebfest.eventbrite.com or www.rebfest.com. Headliner Guapdad 4000 with 20 other artists performing like Kenn Dog with his song Beethoven that has over 15 million views on YouTube and rising popularity of TikTok. 

RebFest has been on hiatus for two years and will finally be putting on their fifth festival. 

KUNV 91.5 The Rebel HD2 is Nevada’s only student run (professionally advised) radio station broadcasting from the campus of UNLV. 

KUNV 91.5 is also going to start its membership drive on March 28, and will last till April 29. The radio station’s goal for the start of spring is $55,000 to help keep the programming listeners enjoy on the air.
