As Las Vegas returns to as much normalcy in a post COVID-19 world as possible, live music is making a comeback. Las Vegas has grown exponentially in its musical diversity throughout the years, and this year’s casino residency line up is proof of that.

Starting off with a strong residency lineup is the rookie of the Las Vegas casinos, Resorts World. Resorts World has four different artists set up to kick off their residencies ranging from Nov. 2021 to Feb. 2022.

Celine Dion is the first residency to begin in November 2021, quickly following with Carrie Underwood and Katy Perry in Dec. 2021. Country Star Luke Bryan is set to finish off the line up in Feb. 2022. All these artists have waited so long for their shows to premier and you can guarantee they will be putting on one hell of a show.

Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino is adding to the musical festivities for the year with the popular rock band KISS. The band famously known for their theatrical display and rocker style  will be stopping in Vegas on their farewell tour Dec. 2021.

Spring of 2022 will make everyone come back to life with the return of the Backstreet Boys in the Zappos Amphitheatre at Planet Hollywood with Las Vegas being their first stop before a world tour.

For those looking for some early-2000s pop iconic jams, Gwen Stefani will be performing her Just a Girl residency this upcoming fall. These performances will get anyone back in that Y2K mindset, Juicy Couture tracksuit and all.

For something a little more instrumental, some may enjoy the musical performance of Carlos Santana at Mandalay Bay starting this month through Dec. 2021. This Grammy-award winner will be showing off his world-renowned guitar skills at The House of Blues. Known for his famous guitar abilities, Santana is the perfect laid back date night concert.

Since every city has a countryside, Keith Urban will be knocking his boots at the Cesar’s Palace Colosseum for a short residency this September. Who doesn’t love an Aussie singing country music? If country is quite your cup of tea, Usher will also have a short residency at Caesar’s ranging from Dec. 2021 through May 2022.

For anyone looking for the epitome of the early and mid-2000s in pop music, a Miss Lady Gaga will be performing at the Park MGM turning performances as we know it on it’s head. Her show “Enigma” will not only showcase her Grammy, Emmy and Golden Globe winning voice, but also focus on stripping down the music to its key components of jazz and piano. This show is inspired by her previous collaboration with Tony Bennet and her performances in the Oscar-Nominated film “A Star is Born.”
